Remembering Shuhadas of 10-Jan & 16 Feb 2013

Remembering Shuhadas of 10-Jan & 16 Feb 2013

Still the eyes of the community was not dried which was wept for the Martyred of Mizan Chawk caused martyred 11 innocent people and several injured. The 2nd blast was in Alamdar road near pearl educational institute at star snooker club. The first blast took place when a suicide bomber blast himself through the door of a snooker club in this area, after a while when the rescue teams and community reached for help, the 2nd blast caused by a vehicle which blew up with explosive materials and caused a wide range of explosion more than 84 innocent people martyred and more than 100 people injured including those who were present for rescue and help. These three bomb blast took place on 10th January 13. This was the first attack on Hazara community in 10 days of New Year 13.

The community had a sit in & Hunger strike protest for Governor Rule in the province, after -3-4 days sit in and hunger strike the federal government withdrawn Raisani Government and the Governor Rule took place. This was an optimist hope for the community and all other neighbour communities that from now they will be at least safe and won’t face such a big tragedy. which was a great loss for Hazara community.

It was 16 February 13 afternoon rush hours in vegetable market in Hazara town; everybody was busy with purchasing vegetables, fruits etc. Students were passing for schools and language centres, when a water tanker contained 1000kg explosive materials were blown up with a remote control. The whole area was captured with blood and bones of the innocent peoples, including men, women, boys and girls. Just after 35 days the second attack on hazara communities. This took the community in much deeper pain, sorrows and grief. About 100 people were martyred and many were injured in this incident. I remember the bodies of child with her doll burnt up in the fire, I remember the students burnt with their books in their bags, I remember a mother burnt with her child in the fire, I remember the meat and the bones of people blown in the air. Of course I remember the loss and causalities of innocent people in their houses.
Let’s pray to almighty Allah to keep the souls of all Shuhadas in eternal peace & paradise and to give the strength and patience for the families and loved once.

A Hope Seized

After Afghanistan and Pakistan, Australia also seized the hopes of asylum seekers. After the new Asylum seekers’ policy it would be right that the Asylum seekers are neglected in 1st world countries also. Hazaras who lives in central Afghanistan specially in Bamyan, Daikundi , Behsud and Jaghori they are surrendered from four sides by Taliban. These areas of Afghanistan are the most disregarded places in the country, since 2001 till now there have not been a single construction work neither in infrastructure nor in any other facilities of life, it is difficult while people of this isolated areas of the country go for purchasing goods, for higher education, for job in capital they face many problems from roads to security, in the way they are killed because of being Hazara, they are killed because of getting education and they are killed because of working for their families they are slaughtered in a way that nobody slaughters an animal. After 12th years of freedom from Taliban regime Hazaras face the same major problems of security, poverty, injustice and so on. Some people live in Kabul and other provinces they are never able to meet their families due to insecurity. Therefore they are compelled to risk their lives in the way to other countries in order to get a chance to live in peace.
The same problems are faced in Pakistan each single day Hazaras are being targeted by the militants group, they are kidnapped for a handful amount of money.  Hazaras are in minority in the country and they are surrendered the same as Afghanistan, sometime they are targeted in the way to work and sometimes in their shops, while the government forces are completely failed to protect minorities including Shia, Hindos, Siks, Ahmadias and christains in Pakistan,  Everybody tries to get a chance to live in a peaceful environment which means that Pakistan will be soon turned to a burning hell for all minorities. Those who have business, jobs they are targeted to leave the country, this is the cause that everybody leaves their home, family and relatives to escape for a safety. That is why today a family of 7 lives in 5 countries around the world.
Australia was a hope of 1% for a new life for asylum seekers who risk their lives 99% in a wooden boat in the ocean, many of them have lost their lives in the ocean and many are missing, while thousands are in Maliasia and Indonasia to examine their and their family’s luck. After continues arrivals of Asylum seekers to Australia, the Government has changed the policy which is not less than a hope to be seized from Asylum seekers. After six weeks winter vacations the Australian NA discussed about the report of the three persons who were the main part of investigation team and policy making for illegal arrivals to Australia, in new policy whoever arrives after 13 August 12 to Australia they will be sent to Nauru Island located in  Papua new Guinea, where is  neither health facilities nor living and the Asylum seekers should live in tents for several years to process their cases, The Australian Government has requested those countries who accepts Asylum seekers to take part, This policy is once again trouble for asylum seekers who leave their families behind for a new hope of life and this hope is also seized.

8th March and Our Reputation

8th March and our Reputation

As we all know that 8th March is celebrated around the world to show injustice with women. This day is celebrated because of the women who are being sacrificed due to their limited rights in society. In this day many of the females stood against the law, who were less empowered than men, in 1857 in New York City a huge protest was taken out for the rights of women and injustice with them in work places this demonstration caused many deaths and injuries since than this day is celebrated ever year.
As I have come to know that in our society we are celebrating 8th march our scholars and clergies have speeches regarding the rights of women I think these speeches are not from the hearts, these are the formalities they full fill and even some condemns the celebration of this day. Some days before I read in news about a women who was tortured by her husband in one of the provinces, her mouth was caught by a knife it was astonishing when I saw her picture it reminded me the history of black days in Europe. When the men had role and rule both in their hands, they practiced many inhuman thoughts on females. You can read more about the Black days of Europe on internet. I want to write about our own country that we have not given a single right for women. today majority of us believe that the women are created to serve man which is hundred times true when we compare it in our country because in most of the areas girls are not able to get education, allow to work out side, they are not given the right to choose a good husband, they are not given the right to participate in the development of country. They have been limited in the homes, they are sold for handful money no matter about the age limit even an old man can buy a teen girl, we have been this much backward that Islam never imagined about. Life totally depends on understanding it does not depend on ranking but it matters when it comes to age differentiation it causes such problems.
When a Christ burns a Holy Book (Quran) everyone gets angry and demonstrate, even lose their lives, properties, but they have never imagined that the Christ have burn a piece of paper and the real Holy book (Quran) is saved in the hearts and used in our daily activities. Quran teaches us to be passionate to animals; females are blessing of God in form of mother, sister and wife, how could a man be much cruel to them to take a knife and cut her mouth to ear. It is a true face of our society how many more are being treated like that in the villageswhere no media is available for coverage hope so that husband is caught by detectives and a strong punishment will be given. I pray her to get well soon.

HAZARAS LIVE IN DANGER

Hazaras Live in Danger

The Hazaras who has a strong history in Afghanistan, It is not concealed from anyone in current era, Hazaras migration started from Afghanistan in 1880s, when the cruel king Abdur Rahman started racial extermination of this nation they were compel to migrate to neighboring countries and about 62% of the population of Hazaras were killed and the remaining population most of them escaped to mountainous areas and caves  in order to protect their lives from extermination while some of them migrated to Iran, Pakistan and other countries, this was a sign of hope for them to live in peace, tranquility and enmity until the extermination was not vanished from their homeland but after many years there was no stability seen in homeland therefore they settled in the countries where they were migrated. The migrants of each country has a chapter to be written on which kind of problems they faced and how? The Hazaras are still facing the same problems as they faced in 1800s from the cruel king and in 1900s Taliban and other militants but in different shapes.
Every day there are many unarmed Hazaras killed in Afghanistan and Pakistan which makes life difficult for them, every day children are losing fathers and women losing husbands, even the society is not safe for them which makes me humble and self effacing. It was good when the Hazaras were living in a peaceful environment in Quetta Pakistan, but now our brothers and sisters are not safe anymore in there. They worked hard in every time and moment in Pakistan to expose themselves as a peaceful citizen of the country, but today their peaceful environment is destroyed. Every day they are exterminated but nobody notice I do remember that every human condemns it except those who are stone hearted and commit it. It is very harsh and difficult to lose someone from a family member without any reason and logic who has gone to work to feed his family. I can’t tell about those who are trying to book a set in paradise but I want to express my feelings about how I feel when a human is killed. Today such extermination caused us to be far from our families and homeland. I feel sorry for all who have been killed because of their ethnic and cultural symbol, may their soul rest in eternal peace. It is the time for all nations to keep mutual cooperation. However it can’t be stopped but we can get time to think mutually for next century.  We have to support our leaders politically and religiously rather than ignoring them, it is important for everybody to know that God helps those who help themselves if we do not take any optimist action there is nobody else to think about. Nations scarifies majority of its population to make the life saver in upcoming centuries and it is the third century we are being sacrificed due to our ethnic, culture and religious believes. I can feel the sound which comes from the heart of mothers losing their children; I can feel the feelings of a women losing her husband, I can feel the screams and roar out voices of the children want to know their crime, I can feel the sadness faced by a brother losing his arm and a sister losing brother.
Decades have been passed but still no changes and stability seen in the live of Hazaras, In Afghanisan, Iran and Pakistan. We have been the most piteous nation in past centuries and ongoing century.
I hope so that in upcoming year we have to make a policy with our politicians to stop suffering of our nation from exterminations and hope so that we will continue to struggle harder in the field of Education, Politics, sports, industries. Histories have shown that no nation has been disappeared while they faced extermination by any other majorities.

Hazarajat

A Glance on Daikundi Province (Hazarajat) Afghanistan

Daikundi was declared as a province in March 2004 before it used to be a district of Oruzgan province. Daikundi is situated in central highlands region of Afghanistan with mountainous, zigzag road and difficult mountain passes, central highlands region also known as Hazarajat. It is consist of 8 districts, the center Nili, Miramor, Shahristan, Khidir, Ashtarlai, Sang takht, Kitti and Kijran bordering with Ghazni, Bemyan, Ghor, Helmand, and Oruzgan. The most populated district is Miramor with approximate 150000 inhabitants and the less populated district is Nili with an approximate population of 70000 inhabitants. The total population of this province is approximately 460000 inhabitants. It is tallied as one of the secure and safe province of Afghanistan.

This province is the most remote province in the country; its’ distance to Kabul by road is about 520 km with zigzag roads and difficult passing ways. The road condition even in center Nili is very poor, there isn’t a meter paved road, There is only one way for people to connect Kabul it passes through Panjab and waras district of Bameyan Province, the people spend two days in the way to Kabul, furthermost of way aside the insecurity of the way increases in their problems. The way used for logistics and supplies purposes is from district Gezab belongs to Oruzgan province, most of the supply transported from this way, the drivers face’s many troubles because this way is controlled by Taliban who most of the time kill the drivers, rob the trucks or kidnap the drivers, furthermore to this problem the people again uses this way for the supply and business purposes because the way to Kabul is far with many difficult mountain passes. Due to furthermost of the way each supply’s cost is almost double from capital (Kabul).
The villages are located in remote and mountainous area; the people face many problems in case of water points, wells, canals and springs. People totally depend on their agricultural land. They cultivate Grain, barley, maize, rain fed and in fruit almond, peaches, pomegranate, apple and grape. They have also some kind of handicraft such as embroidery, carpet, rugs and pottery.  The almond and apple of Daikundi is very famous but due to harsh passing ways and unavailability of stock the almond is stored in the local houses that cannot be exported to other provinces and the farmers sell it in same area to the businessman who are not paid satisfactory amount therefore there is no positive changes seen economically in life of the farmers. Most of the time in summer, the flood washes away the farms, trees, animals this economically weakens the condition of the people. Majority of the population is illiterate who can never imagine about their citizenship rights and it can be the result that today this province has not a meter paved road, neither its administration is much supported by central Government for its development, Based on reality this province has many problems, in term of health, education, electricity, bridges, roads and infrastructure. The total development budget of this province in 2011 was approximately 8.5 million USD. While in developing provinces it is more than 500 Million USD.
In term of health the people have to use donkeys in case of any urgent medical problem; they walk about 5 to 100 km to get to the basic health center or hospital. Furthermore there isn’t even a private hospital, clinic & dispensaries consequently many patients die in the way to health facilities. There is only one female doctor in whole province that’s why Daikundi has one of the highest mother and child mortality rate in the country. It has only one Provincial hospital situated in Nili with limited and less professional staff having three district hospitals situated in Shahristan, Miramor and Kitti. Due to lack of professional doctors, surgical and medical instruments the people are compel to take their patient to Kabul, who due to difficult and poor road condition most of the time leave their lives ahead and passes away.
In term of Education the villages are not much connected to each other. Currently this province has about 344 schools located in different districts; students face much problem they walk from 4 km to even 7 km by foot to get to school. Schools are having problems of basic facilities for instance lack of classrooms, lack of technical teachers, lack of water points, and lack of latrines. In addition very few schools have their buildings and the rest are having tent based classrooms or even they sit under trees to get education. In education sector the people are facing problematic accessibility to schools.
When it comes to telecommunications, only one telecommunication Company is having limited services in five districts of this province while the others have limited services in center Nili and there are only two to three internet clubs in Nili city. There are two radio stations located in Nili, Radio Nili with a range of 50 km and newly established Radio Nasim with a Range of 300km. Due to no electricity very few people are watching television. When it comes to hotels, there are very few hotels with limited services. Living conditions of the people is miserable due to no development work in all sectors.
The people of this province need tremendous solution for the current situation. They provide peace and tranquility to all development and social working NGOs for the development of their unmemorable land, I hope that the United Nations and development NGOs will take a glance on this and support the people of this Province in order to bring a positive change by development.
